There are preset outfit buttons in here that can help swap outfits quickly. Please be aware that these buttons aren't meant to be spammed. They may break if they are done too much and quickly. 2. The gas mas can be grabbed with your right hand. With gestures on, you can grab it by putting your right hand near your face and using the closed Fist gesture. It can be replaced on the face with the right hand's Open gesture. 3. Gas mask comes with smoke which you can toggle on and off. It will turn off automatically when held in your hand or when it's turned off. The smoke cannot turn on while the mask is off. 4. The goggles and glasses can be posed on your head. Grab the right side area of the goggles/glasses and you can stretch them out and place them in a posed position (This can look silly if you pose them all the way out away from the face) 5. The chain and strap harnesses have two seperate toggles each. Straps 2 toggles the straps connecting to the collar and chain 2 toggles the connecting chains down to the groin. Straps 1 & chains 1 toggles the other parts. 6. The hair is mix and match. You can even take off all of the hair for a buzzcut look. Find a style that suits you! GIMMICKS: 1. Dagger and Holster can be toggled on seperately. If the Dagger is in the holster when the holster is turned off it also turn off. The dagger can be picked up with either hand from the holster and can be passed from hand to hand. In order to pick it up one hand must make a closed fist gesture. If you have both hands doing teh fist gesture the dagger will not swap positions. To replace the dagger into the holster hold open hand gesture close to the sheath. >> You may notice that there are a bunch of contacts/receivers around Zavis' left leg. Do not delete those if you want to keep the Holster! Their purpose is to help prevent clipping around the area where some potions are equipped. If you delete them then the holster will clip in that area more than ususal. 2. The Alchemy stone functions as a handheld prop, a spring joint, and a world placeable object. Gestures and contacts must be enabled to swap the stone into a spring joint. When you do a point gesture close to the stone it will snap to the pointing hand as an SJ. Alternatively, you can grab the stone while it's in SJ mode by grabbing it with the fist gesture. The freeze toggle will lock the stone in place whether it is in the air or in your hand. Just like the SJ, you can grab the stone from it's world locked location by grabbing it. 3. Zavis' book spawns into the hand and can be opened through a toggle. There are 2 spells that can be casted through gestures and contacts. Once the book is opened, you can point at 3 different spots on the magic circle. Once all three lights begin to glow there are 2 options. The first is to hold the open hand gesture above the magic circle. This triggers the summoning of a giant snake. Alternatively, you can hold the Alchemist's stone in your hand, hold it near the magic circle, and use the closed fist gesture. This will trigger Zavis' demon snake transformation. Neither spell will activate if the big snake and transformation toggles are already on. 4. There are two drinkable potions! Spawn it in, uncork it by pulling the cap off (optional), and hold it close to your head. After two gulps, a magical effect will play out. If you have the orange potion active it will cast a flamethrower breath. The purple potion casts invisibility. You can return to being visible by hitting the 'Invisible' toggle in the Gimmick menu. 5. When you trigger the 'Demon Form' toggle, it would auto activate Zavis' snake tail, horn, and vein emissions. It also transitions Zavis' skin into a more snake-like appearance. If you toggle 'Enable Skin Only' before hitting 'Demon Form', only the skin will change and the horn, veins, and snake tail will remain in their current states. A fun feature that the demon form causes is also swapping the tongue on all gesture. You will now have a snake tongue in place of a human one. This effect won't occur if 'Enable Skin Ony' is active. 6. Zavis comes with two pet snakes; a small snake wrapped around his right arm and a large snake that coils around him. The Pet snake (small snake) can be headpatted and booped on the snoot. Careful! If you boop him too many times he bites back! Additionally, if you headpat the snake long enough it will trigger heart particles. The giant snake is world constrainted and will stay in place wherever it was spawned. Like Envy's snake, this snake will bite at any other player who touches it's head. It will bow down to Zavis' touch for more headpats. When you go AFK, the giant snake will spawn in and take a nap with Zavis. 7. Smacking yourself or other players with the crop will activate a smacking noise! Have fun with that XD CUSTOMIZATION: 1. The Snake/Props hue shift will alter the small/giant snake as well as the stone and the book. 2. The metal hue shift will only work when the metal is swapped to gold. 3. Lighting toggle will make you brighter or darker overall without affecting emmissions. Use this to adjust to different world lighting! EXPRESSIONS: 1. The 'flirty' gesture set swaps Zavis' default gestures with ones that are a bit 'spicier'. 2. Zavis' gestures can only be triggered by one hand at a time. You can decide if it's on the right or left hand through a toggle. You can also deactivate both hands which allows for contacts to still work without triggering facial expressions. 3. The tongue swap trades Zavis' human tongue for his forked one. This will cause all gestures that involve the tongue tongue sticking out to use the forked tongue instead. 4. Their are 2 idle animations on Zavis. The tail swings idly and the goggles have a shutter that zoom in and out. Turning this toggle off will stop these animations from playing. 5. Contacts on Zavis include grabbing the gas mask, head pats, nose boops, lifting the tank top up, the whip hit, and an ass slap. You can turn these off an on in the expressions to your liking. 6. The tank top can be lifted by holding a fist gesture in the bottom left of the frontside of the tank top. 7. Ass slap can only be triggered on the right cheek. I would NOT suggest editing the FX layer unless you have a decent understanding of layer/parameter controls. Deleting certain layers will break some mechanics on the model! If you want to add anything I would recommend adding layers at the end of all the other present layers. - Want to make skin edits? I'd recommend using matcaps for tattoos. This is because the skin materials use decals to optimize the swap between skin colors. Also, make sure to edit right onto the existent material on the model as the transform will automatically swap Zavis body materials to the one's currently on him even if you change them in Unity. - Want to optimize the avatar? You can delete meshes, particles and audio to help with this. Again, I would not recommend deleting layers in the FX unless you have sufficient knowledge of Unity. On the other hand, I have provided a 'Dance' version of Zavis which is aimed for performers who would like to use the model for events with certain avatar limitations. This version focuses on maintaining toggles/features that could be fun to perform with and deletes unneccessary things. Feel free to use this to have a base for a more optimized version! - If you have imported VRCFury, it will add a script to all of the avatars. This script will warn you about write defaults being on/off. DO NOT CHANGE ANY OF THE CURRENT WRITE DEFAULTS! If you do, the toggles/features on the model WILL break or behave oddly. You have been warned! - Zavis uses a mixture of write defaults being on/off and this is on purpose. If you would like to add anything to the FX layer I'd reccommend that you do so with write defaults turned off. For basic toggles and most functions, the FX layer is built with the intention that they should be off. The only layers that use Write Defaults on are the Blendtree toggles as well as the hand override animations for holding Zavis' book. - You may notice that the top attached to Zavis' collar is tucked and clipping inside the body. If you change it so that it's in its default state to do some editing, please make sure to turn the shapekey back on before you upload. But if you want a specific version here's a link: https://github.com/poiyomi/PoiyomiToonShader/releases/tag/V8.1.167 >> I used V8.1 for my project! - My avatar is pink when I import it into Unity? >> This is an issue related to Poiyomi. Either you forgot to import it, or it didn't import properly. Try clicking the shader drop down in a material and swapping it back to poiyomi if you already have it imported. If it's not imported go ahead and import and try resetting the shader to Poiyomi Toon 8.1. If the shader isn't resolving after swapping it to Poiyomi (with poiyomi already imported) create a new project and retry the imports with a fresh download of Poiyomi. - Why can't I edit the materials? None of the buttons are working! >> This is likely because the materials are locked! Poiyomi locks materials to help with avatar file size in-game. In order to edit a locked a material you must 'Unlock Shader' located at the top of the material first! Don't worry, Poiyomi will automatically lock all of your materials for you when you try to upload it again. - Why isn't the PP working? >> In order for the NSFW parts to function, you must make sure that VRCFury is imported into your project before the avatar. This is because the NSFW functions use SPS. For details/instructions on how to import VRCFury please visit this website: https://vrcfury.com/download - Do I need VRCFury for the SFW version? >> Yes you do! It won't effect the SFW version but it is required in order for the entire package to work. - Woah, why is the avatar import taking so long? >> I have crunch compressed the textures for better performance purposes. When you import the model, Unity has to crunch all of these textures. This can take quite some time depending on your PC performance. Just be patient and let Unity do it's thing! - VRchat is asking if it should change the anchor for lighting. Should I say yes? >> NO! If you say yes it may break the potion liquid shader. - Can I get an upload done for me? >> Sure! Open up a ticket in my discord server and provide me with your purchase license and email. I can help you with an upload after confirming your purchase! Please understand that I mostly do uploads during the week. I don't mind hearing about it but please understand that it is almost impossible to 100% prevent clipping (even professional games have clipping lol). It's just the nature of having multiple outfits fitted to a body. Ofcoarse, I try my best to prevent it as much as possible but certain elements (such as the potions in the holster by the leg) will clip simply because there aren't any bodily limitations to how much you can rotate your body into extreme positions/rotations.
